Apple Cookie in Turkish Style

We have already know apple pie. 
How about apple cookie in Turkish style?

Today, I'm going to give the recipe, especially for
 my dear friend Neha :) Hope you like it...

(The recipe belongs to Oktay Aymelek, 
also known as Oktay Usta)

This recipe is f0r 8 people.

Ingredients for marmalade:
4 apples
1 cup walnuts
4 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Ingredients for paste:
Margarine 125 grams (half a pack)
1 cup vegetable oil
1 packet of baking powder
1 package vanilla powder
1 egg
0.5 cups of yoghurt (half)
just some salt
And add flour until you get soft paste
*superfine sugar also known as caster sugar

Directions:
At first, peel the scabs of apples, put into stewpot. 
Add 4 tablespoons granulated sugar 
and let them cook on low heat. When the marmalade starts becoming watery; add cinnamon and walnuts. Let it be cold.
Let's move on paste.

For the paste, add yoghurt, egg, margarine, vegatable oil and little bit salt into utensil and mould them, until it gets mixed very well. Add flour,vanilla and baking powder and mould them more. When the paste is ready for using, to cut it into halves and make it small balls to make it easy for rolling out dough in shape of circle. Like this;

By weighing dough down with your fingers or roller, 
make them slender dough.
They should be a little bigger than your palm.
(The picture is just an example, they should not be that big.)

Put the marmalade in the middle of dough horizontally and fold both sides opposite. First fold the one far away to you, and then fold the one near onto the other. Put them all into oily baking tray, put in oven which has been heated in 180 santigrat and bake nearly 40 minutes. Take out before they turn to red. Dip them into superfine sugar well.
Now, they're ready to eat!
